Courtney’s roots trace back to a small farming community in North Dakota, where her mother served as mayor and her father cultivated potatoes. Growing up in a town defined by safety, friendliness, and neighborly values, she learned early on the importance of hard work and looking out for others. She carried those lessons with her to Marquette University in Milwaukee, where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration. Graduating in 1999, during the height of the Y2K era, she pursued a major in Information Technology—though her pilot training had already hinted that sitting quietly behind a screen wasn’t the best match for her outgoing personality.

Courtney’s real estate career began in Texas in 2006, where she became a licensed agent, later serving as a supervising broker and even running her own independent brokerage. In 2021, she brought REAL Broker to Montana, further cementing her reputation as a leader in the industry. Yet beyond her professional accomplishments, what matters most to Courtney is her family—her husband and their three sons, who remain the center of her world and the driving force behind everything she does.
